ALL THE WORDS I HAVE

All the words I have,

But I am still afraid

Of who you think I am:

I don’t know what to say.

My tears long for you.

Yet I don’t understand

Of how my heart wants to reach you

With all the words I have.

Lord knows when I try to speak,

It feels though heart is weak.

So I try to make you laugh

With all the words I have.

All the words I have,

I don’t know a thing

Of walking the purest path:

I only know to sing.

My arms ache to hold what I cannot have

Yet I express what I behold

With all the words I have.
